Our region

Ajaccio
Napoleon’s birthplace, a cultural city with its museum and historic landmarks, casino, pedestrian streets and colorful markets. Head west to the open sea.
Lac de Creno
The village of the last Corsican bandit. Go to Sagone and then inland to the countryside, through Vico and stop by the “Casa di u mele,” home of Corsican honey. Then continue to Muna, a ghost town that’s fiercely preserved from devastation.

Calanques de Piana
Slalom through the jagged rock formations of the Calanques de Piana, high cliffs that plunge into the sea, a colorful rainbow of hues. Then get on a boat at Porto and cruise through the wonders of the Scandola nature reserve.

Have lunch at Girolata, only accessible via boat or foot.
Cargese
Cargese was founded by Greeks fleeing Turkish occupation. Taste one of the most delicious fish soups on the island while locals play relentless battles of boules on the plaza between the Latin and orthodox churches.
Liscia beach
Golden sandy beaches and creeks are wonderful places for relaxing. Liscia beach borders the campground, is supervised, and its sand is combed daily. Why go any further?
